We quickly became friends and didn’t realize until a day or so of being together that we had been on the same plane traveling from Columbus, Ohio.<br />
I don’t know too many people from my area that knows about eutaptics, let alone to be on the same plane with someone traveling for this extensive training.<br />
<br />
The training was intense and transformation after transformation took place. Angela was one of those that had major break throughs and it was so gratifying to see her change right before my eyes.<br />
Angela was as real as they come; honest, open and so authentic.<br />
<br />
Both of us returned to Ohio that next weekend, touched by what we had experienced and learned from each other and from the group of people who had traveled from as far away as South Africa. Angela touched a part of my heart that I will never forget and I hope we will be connected for years to come.<br />
<br />
Shortly after we returned, she sent me a piece she had just written for her blog and I wanted to share it because I think she expresses feelings that we all struggle with. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.<br />
<br />
Thank you Angela for being you, my world is a better place because our paths have crossed!<br />
<br />

<span style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: 700;">Trust, Faith and Surrender.</span> Up till now, these have not been my strongest skill set. I say, up till now, because I am and have been working on it.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
The biggest challenge for me has really been surrender. It’s a word that’s a little tricky. It’s a lot like forgiveness in that it often gets twisted up in our heads to mean something that it actually doesn’t.</div>
<h4 style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; clear: both; color: #1a1c1e; font-family: tekton-pro-1, tekton-pro-2, sans-serif; font-size: 26px; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.38;">
We’ve all been known to confuse forgiveness for approval.<br style="box-sizing: inherit;" />We’ve also been known to confuse surrender with giving up.</h4>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
And I think we are all in agreement that giving up and condoning bad behavior are low on our list of desires in this life.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
But we get confused when our emotions hit the spin cycle of life.<br />
I have been called in the last year to learn how to embrace trust, faith and surrender in a way I never have before. And, folks, it’s been a bumpy ride. At first it was a lot like taking your car out into a cornfield in late July. You can’t see anything. Your suspension is busted and you have no idea where you’ll end up. And if you are you like me and have seen Children of the Corn, you are sure it’s someplace bad.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
So what I did was attempt to control — everything. It went badly. I controlled my food, or lack there of. I controlled my exercise, or lack thereof. I controlled my emotions. I controlled my environment. I tried to control my body. And most of all, control the outcome.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
I have arrived at this place recently where I truly see that I have been one of my biggest obstacles. Control is like putting a dam in the middle of flowing water. Nothing moves. Everything builds up. And the natural order of things is interrupted.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
People, believe me when I tell you that I don’t say any of this easily. But I have spit in the wind, twisted in the wind, shadow boxed, shut down, shut out, and basically held my breath in defiance. It didn’t work. Because if it could, trust that I would have solved it by now.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
Speaking of trust. That was another hurdle. I thought that I had trust in my life and I do. But then there is T-R-U-S-T, that knowing that everything will work out, no matter what. That I did not have. And I cannot say I firmly possess it now but it’s better. I am learning about myself and the life experience more each day and as I do, I am building trust. Trust in the process. Trust in my friends and family. Trust in my husband. Even trust in my feline friends that they are always showing me the way.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
And then there’s faith — blind faith. But, honestly, isn’t all faith blind? It’s believing it to see it, instead of seeing it in order to believe it. My faith muscle wasn’t very strong but not because it had atrophied but because I had never really worked it before. I had faith in hard-work, perseverance, focus, determination, unrelenting effort. I had never been forced to take my hands off the wheel and give up control. And I fought that hard for months. I didn’t know how to do life, <span style="box-sizing: inherit; font-style: italic;"><span style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: 700;">be me</span></span> any other way than through sheer will of effort and desire. And now life was asking me, actually demanding me, to stop and take a fearless self inventory and, frankly, it sucked. And sometimes still does.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
I was being shoved off a cliff into a change because staying where I was standing was unacceptable.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
And so that’s how I ended up jumping with my eyes closed, holding my breath and shedding more than a few tears into a world mostly unknown to me — the world of Trust, Faith, and Surrender. We’re still getting acquainted so don’t go getting all impressed with my progress just yet.</div>
<h4 style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; clear: both; color: #1a1c1e; font-family: tekton-pro-1, tekton-pro-2, sans-serif; font-size: 26px; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.38;">
As I once heard Oprah say “Difficulties come when you don’t pay attention to life’s whisper. Life always whispers to you first, but if you ignore the whisper, sooner or later you’ll get a scream.”</h4>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
I got the whisper but my ears were deaf, I probably got a yell or two as well. And then I finally heard the scream and was shocked to recognize it escaping from my own throat. How’s that for a wake up call?</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; caret-color: rgb(106, 108, 110); color: #6a6c6e; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; padding: 0px 0px 1.5em;">
<span style="box-sizing: inherit; font-style: italic;"><span style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: 700;">Sunshine & Sarcasm,</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Science has found a concrete link between stress levels and related diseases, such as:</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Asthma</span></span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Diabetes</span></span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Obesity</span></span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Depression and Anxiety</span></span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Gastrointestinal problems</span></span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Headaches</span></span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fibromyalgia</span></span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Increased risk of Cancer<br /><br /> </span></span><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">As this video shows, crying is an emotional response to an intense event.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> <span style="font-weight: 400;">So whenever you’re extremely stressed caused by extreme joy or extreme sadness, we cry.</span></span>
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we cry, we shed tears, and the hormone adrenocorticotropic (ACTH) is released into the bloodstream.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> <span style="font-weight: 400;">This helps to relieve stress, but crying over an extended period of time can be detrimental to your health.</span></span>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> <span style="font-weight: 400;">You may have found that once in a while, after having “a good cry”, you feel calmer and more relaxed.</span></span>
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">While crying does help to relieve
stress, it’s not the best way to relieve stress and can actually cause
physical harm to your health over the long term. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Neurology based techniques such as FasterEFT are very effective in relieving the root causes of stress, not just the symptoms. </span></span><br />

beliefs and even our personality comes from the subconscious mind. Using
humor and engagement, Dr. Irum Tahir teaches how to access the
subconscious mind to transform deep patterns which cause us anxiety,
pain and feelings of failure and create a life full of happiness,
fulfillment and joy.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I liked this video, but I think she fell short in explaining "how" to change the subconscious. That can't be explained in 12 short minutes, but changing negative memories is the best place to start and changing the earliest negative memories in childhood is the first place to explore because they are the foundation of why you react to the world the way you do.<br /><br />My experience is that Faster EFT is the best method to tackle this. You can do it on your own or with a trained professional. It takes dedication and commitment to want to change yourself for the better, but the rewards are monumental if you start that journey and see it through to the end!</span><br />

It is the "how" that addresses "I don't know how to let go" or "where do I start?"</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><br />This simple video explains how this strategy works<br />This is a very easy process to do on your own, but sometimes, childhood memories can be riddled with strong emotional traumas and is best addressed with a skilled practitioner who can safely guide you through the process with minimal emotional distress for permanent changes and lasting success. </span><br />

mind”. Physical changes happen in your brain as you use the technique.
It literally changes the structure of the neocortex of your brain as old
connections are replaced by new. As you use the FasterEFT technique on
an ongoing basis, you are changing the neural connections in your brain –
which will result in an automatic change to the way you think. And
thinking differently will naturally change the results you experience in
your life.</span><br />
<h2 style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">How Does it Work?</span></h2>
<u><b><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Thinking<br /></span></b></u>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">The neocortex is the outer part of the
brain – the walnut-shaped part that we all recognize as the brain. When
you have a thought, a connection is made in this part of the brain
between nerve cells or neurons. Every thought is a connection. Thinking
the same thought over and over creates a more permanent connection
between those particular neurons. This is how we learn intellectually.
When a particular neural pathway is no longer being used, the connection
begins to atrophy and those neurons no longer fire together. This is
how we forget information.</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<u><b><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Feeling<br /></span></b></u></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">The connection in the neocortex triggers
the limbic brain (chemical brain) – which is positioned underneath the
neocortex – to produce chemicals that cause a sensation, a feeling, that
matches the thought. With repetition, the combination of the neural
pathway becoming more permanent and the limbic brain producing the
matching chemicals causes the cerebellum (the reptilian brain) – the
seat of the subconscious – to record the response. This is the reason
you’re able to drive home for 30 minutes and not remember the journey.
Your cerebellum is doing the driving. It’s also the reason you react
automatically with no conscious decision when someone “pushes your
buttons”.</span></div>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">So, What’s it Got to Do with FasterEFT?</span></h2>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> When you use the FasterEFT process, you are addressing the original records in the subconscious, and making changes to them.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Many people are confused about how
saying a bunch of words, and tapping on certain meridian points can lead
to such remarkable physical and emotional results?</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The results can be hard to believe,
especially when you hear things like cancer, diabetes, chronic pain,
Lyme disease, OCD, PTSD being cured, just through Faster EFT tapping.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Faster Emotionally Focused Transformations (FasterEFT), is a mind-based system, founded on Neurology and Biology.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Emotions affect both our physical and mental wellbeing.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">So it follows that once your turbulent emotions are healed and cleaned up, you’ll have overall wellbeing.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The foundation belief in Faster EFT is that there is no disruption of energy, unlike traditional EFT.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In fact, everything in your life and body is functioning as it should.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to the way the brain has developed in order to survive in the environment, depending on your life’s experiences.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In Faster EFT, the tapping is used to
disrupt the signal between the brain and the major organs of the body
that trigger the fight or flight response while changing neural pathways
in the neocortex of the brain.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Faster EFT Tapping Basic Recipe doesn’t just deal with energy disruptions, which only fixes the outer issue of the problem.</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">It deals with the root cause of the problems, eliminating them completely.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Faster EFT recognizes that experiences are recorded in the subconscious for future reference.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is how we learn to walk, drive,
take a shower, eat, wash the dishes, type etc. without needing to
consciously concentrate on every movement and decision.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Regular EFT specifically believes
that negative emotions have nothing to do with memories, and are caused
only by a disruption in the body’s energy system.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The FasterEFT Tapping Basic Recipe
interrupts that signal between the brain and the organs by focusing on
the meridian points connected to those organs.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This rewrites the reference or memory associated with that trigger.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">For example, if Tom feels angered by
the loud music and wanted to change that automatic response, he could
use the Faster EFT Tapping Basic Recipe to disrupt the production of the
chemicals that cause the feeling of anger when he hears the loud music.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">And change the meaning of the loud
music in his subconscious from “rude” or “disruptive” (or whatever they
learned it means) to fun and enjoyment.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This will then result in an automatic feeling of enjoyment and fun when Tom hears that loud music in the future.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>The Neuroscience of FasterEFT</b></span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">While the brain is a complex organ
and neuroscientists still don’t know everything about it (and may never
find out), the research and studies that have been carried out in the
field of neuroscience have given us a reasonable “working knowledge” of
how the brain works to a certain level. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In other words, science has given us
enough knowledge to enable us to use our brains more effectively to
significantly improve our day-to-day lives. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">We don’t know everything about how
our phones work, but using the “Quick Start” guide we can learn enough
to operate the phone more efficiently and make use of the applications
we need.</span></span><br />

<h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>A Quick Start Guide for Your Brain</b></span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The brain can be divided into many
different sections, each of which produces specific functions; but for
the quick start guide all you need to know are three of these sections.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The three parts that make up your human brain for the purposes of this quick start guide are: </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<ol>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The neocortex; </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">the limbic brain and; </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">the cerebellum.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span><h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>How does FasterEFT work at the physical level?</b></span></h2>
<h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>The Neocortex</b></span></h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is where you do your thinking. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The neocortex is made up of billions
of neurons or nerve cells; and each time you have a thought, connections
are made between specific neurons. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you have the same thought over
and over again, the neurons are “wired” by a substance that allows that
connection to become more permanent. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is how we learn information intellectually.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Thoughts that refer to the same topic will be wired in “gangs” or communities – forming neural networks. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you cease to think a certain thought, the connection weakens or atrophies. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is how we forget information. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">However, because the connection was
present, depending on how long ago it was made, and the type of
connection, it will take less time to rewire it – and as a result,
relearn that information.</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>The Limbic Brain</b></span></h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The limbic brain is also known as the chemical brain, and is basically our “drug lab”. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is where chemicals are produced in response to the connections that are being made in the neocortex. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When we have a thought, and a
connection is made in the neocortex, the limbic brain is triggered to
produce certain chemicals that will produce sensations that match that
thought. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In other words, when you think a sad
thought, your limbic brain will produce chemicals that cause the
sensations of sadness in your body. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you think a happy thought, your limbic brain will produce chemicals that cause the sensations of happiness in your body.</span></span><br />
<br />
<h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>The Cerebellum</b></span></h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is the oldest part of the human brain, and it is the seat of the unconscious. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is the part of the brain that allows you to carry out actions without needing to think about each aspect. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is also the part of the brain that produces your automatic reactions to triggers and stimuli. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When someone “pushes your buttons” it
is your cerebellum that responds with the automatic reaction –
triggering chemicals to be produced in your limbic brain and the other
organs in your body that cause an emotional response.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you learn something, you will
learn it using thought initially (through connections in your
neocortex), which will cause a chemical response in the limbic brain and
other organs. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When this is repeated over and over,
the connection in your neocortex becomes “wired” – allowing faster
transfer of the information between the neurons. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">And as the repetition continues, the
combination of the wired connection in the neocortex and the repeated
flooding of matching chemicals through your bloodstream causes the
cerebellum to record that specific event.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">However, the cerebellum does not need repetition in order to record events, responses, and conditions. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Since its primary function is your
survival it is designed to prioritize any information that it considers a
threat to your well-being. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In other words, you will only need to
be exposed to the pain of putting your hand on a hot stove once for
that connection to be made in your brain.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A strong fight-freeze-or-flight response to a threat will usually be recorded in your cerebellum the first time it happens. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">From then on, whenever you encounter
that threat again your subconscious will trigger your brain to signal
your organs to produce the fight or flight chemicals – which will put
your body into a state of emergency. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will experience state as fear, anxiety, anger, hurt or any other stress emotion.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Note</b><b>:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The threat does not necessarily need to be real. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Since your subconscious does not have
the ability to reason, use logic, or distinguish right from wrong or
true from false, it responds based purely on the data it already
contains – whether that data is correct, logical and reasonable or not.</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Let’s take an Example:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mary is an 8-year-old child, and
experiences a stressful situation in school – the teacher asks her to
recite information she doesn’t know and then scolds her in front of the
rest of the class for her failure. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mary’s body goes into a state of
fight-freeze-or-flight – the stress response – and the cerebellum is
triggered to record the event as a threat. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The brain makes a connection between
the situation (being the center of attention) and the
fight-freeze-or-flight stress response. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The exact connection will depend on the data already held in her subconscious.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This may result in a fear of public
speaking, or social anxiety, or a range of other possibilities –
depending on what other memories she holds and continues to collect.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">As you go through your life, your
subconscious is constantly referring to the records it holds and
triggering the brain and body to respond accordingly.</span></span><br />
<br />

<h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>How does FasterEFT work with respect to the tapping points?</b></span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Faster EFT Tapping Basic Recipe has only FIVE steps, that takes only 30 seconds to do.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anyone of any age can learn this simple technique and use it whenever they want, wherever they are with lasting results.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">It may seem a little strange at
first, but after a couple of round of using the Faster EFT Tapping Basic
Recipe, you’ll feel more comfortable.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The following illustration is pretty straightforward and we’ll give a brief explanation of it as well.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">For now, just identify each of these Faster EFT Tapping points on your body and follow along!</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span><b>Step #1: Aim</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b> </b></span>
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Notice how you know you have the problem.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You don’t need to know what the emotions or feelings are, just notice how you know they’re there.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">What do you feel?</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Where in your body do you feel it?</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">What do you see or hear?</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">How do you know it’s a problem?</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Step #2: Tap</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Use two fingers to tap the following points, while focusing on the feeling of your fingers on your skin:</span></span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">between your eyebrows</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">beside your eye</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">under your eye</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">just below your collarbone</span></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">While you are tapping, say “Let it go”. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can also add “It’s safe to let it go”.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Note: It doesn’t matter which side you tap – you can do either side or both if you like.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Step #4: Check</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Go back to your problem and take notice of how it’s changed.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Do you feel different?</span></span><br />

</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just notice.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Step #5: Repeat</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Repeat steps two to four until the feeling or memory has “</span><a href="https://fastereft.com/blog/why-do-we-flip-memories-in-fastereft/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">flipped</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">” – in other words, the negative memory has been replaced by a positive memory.</span></span><br />

<h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>How does FasterEFT work at the Physical Level?</b></span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Neuroscientist, Dr. Joe Dispenza points out that in the neocortex of the brain, nerve cells that fire together wire together. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This means that the more you think
and react in the same ways you’ve always done, the more automated your
thinking and reactions become. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">He goes on to stress that in order to
change your automatic responses, you need to consciously become aware
of your habitual thinking (metacognition), and make different choices in
the moment. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you cease to use a specific
connection and use a different connection instead, you literally rewire
the neocortex of your brain.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><br />
<h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>How does FasterEFT work at the Emotional Level</b></span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Consistent FasterEFT tapping “rewires” the neocortex. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This causes a change in automatic thought patterns – and, as a result, in emotional states.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">However, there may be a faster and more direct way to make these changes. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">FasterEFT has been designed to change memories that cause negative emotions into positive memories.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">By changing a memory from negative to
positive, the resulting positive chemical responses produce a very
different effect on the body. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In addition to this, the changes in
the neocortex are an automatic result since all changes in thought
patterns cause restructuring in the neocortex.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">FasterEFT not only causes the user to
think differently – using new connections in the neocortex – it does
this with the original memory or record instead of with the current
thought process alone.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In other words, instead of working
with the neocortex (and by association, with the limbic brain) alone, it
is designed to work with the subconscious – the part of you that is in
charge of your automatic reactions and responses.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The result is: very fast, significant changes in the brain and in the automatic responses of the body. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Instead of the repetition that is
needed in order to change the neural pathways on a more permanent basis
(rewiring), the changes are made using the cerebellum – the part of the
brain responsible for automated and instinctual reactions and responses,
as well as emotional memory.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><br />
<h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Try it yourself</b></span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Since it doesn’t cost anything, and
you don’t need any special equipment or an expert in order to use it,
you can carry out your own experiment, and test it for yourself.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Persistence is essential.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Don’t stop until it’s changed – even
if it doesn’t feel like it’s going to change – it will, as long as you
keep going until it does.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">This is a good article from Robert Smith and how to use tapping to reduce the negative feelings of grief. We all grieve differently and for different lengths of time; there is no right or wrong answer. <br />If you want to move on, but for some reason it doesn't feel right or you just don't know where to start, this article may just be what you are looking for. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Losing someone you love is a
heartbreaking, traumatic experience; and it’s one that can be near to
impossible to fully recover from. The fact is, it is unavoidable; and no
matter how you feel you cannot change the reality of it. The truth is
that the feelings of grief over the loss of a loved one cannot change
the event, but they do have an effect on you and those around you.
Finding a way to overcome these feelings as soon as possible will help
to give you the strength to reach a place where you are able to honor
your loved one in place of grieving them.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">FasterEFT can help you to make the
changes very quickly and effectively; and in addition to using this
technique it is helpful to acknowledge and remind yourself of certain
facts:</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The Effects of Grief</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<ol style="text-align: justify;">
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">If you have lost a loved one, your grief cannot bring them back or undo the event.</span></li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<ol start="2" style="text-align: justify;">
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Grief is a stress state that puts the body into “fight or flight”.
This means that while you are feeling grief, blood is being pumped away
from your organs to your extremities (to run away or fight), your
heart-rate is increased, your digestive system is not working
effectively, your body is not healing as fast, the cells of your body
are receiving molecules of the stress hormones in place of nutrients,
and the activity in the prefrontal cortex of your brain (where your
cognitive thinking takes place) is reduced.</span></li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">While the body is designed to survive in
this emergency state for short periods of time (as long as it takes to
escape a predator), long-term fight or flight states can cause damage
and disease as well as affect genetic expression. For more information
on the details of this, read: <a href="https://fastereft.com/how-can-emotions-affect-physical-health/" target="_blank">How Can Emotions Affect Physical Health</a>.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<ol start="3" style="text-align: justify;">
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">While you are in a state of grief, since the activity in your
prefrontal cortex has been reduced, your cognitive thinking is impaired.
This means that you are unable to think as clearly, communicate as
effectively, see solutions, process information, and make objective
decisions as you can when you are in a normal, balanced emotional state.</span></li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<ol start="4" style="text-align: justify;">
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Those around you are heavily impacted by the way you are feeling as
it naturally affects your choices, decisions, behaviors, responses and
communication.</span></li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<ol start="5" style="text-align: justify;">
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">You are unable to really honor your loved one with love,
appreciation, peace and happiness while you are in a state of grief. The
sooner you are able to move out of that state, the sooner you will be
able to think of that person with pure love and joy, minus the negative
effects.</span></li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">If you feel it may be disrespectful and uncaring to cut short the grieving process, read:<a href="https://fastereft.com/how-long-should-you-grieve-after-a-loss/" target="_blank">How Long Should You Grieve After a Loss?</a></span></div>

<h2 style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">How to Use FasterEFT to Get Over Your Loss</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Having realized the importance of
spending as little time as possible in the state of grief over the loss
of a loved one, it’s time to use the technique to get yourself through
it as quickly and effectively as possible.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Step One</b></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and
focus on the feeling of grief. Focus on how you feel about the loss of
your loved one. Notice where you feel that feeling in your body, and
notice how strong it is. If zero represents not feeling it at all, and
10 represents the feeling being very strong, how strong is that feeling
for you right now? Just notice it.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Step Two</b></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Now, using two fingers, gently tap the following <a href="http://www.fastereft.com/the-fastereft-technique-step-by-step/" target="_blank">meridian points</a> while focusing on the feeling of your fingers on your skin and saying the phrases.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">– Between your eyebrows – I release and let this go now</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">– Beside your eye – It’s okay to let it go now</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">– Under your eye – I don’t need it anymore, and it’s safe to let it go now</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">– Just below your collarbone – That’s right, just let it all go; and I’m safe as I’m letting it go now</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Step Three</b></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Grab your wrist, take a deep breath, blow
it out, and say “Peace”. Go to a peaceful memory and enjoy the feeling
of that for a moment. In fact, it is even more effective if you go to a
peaceful or fun memory you have of your loved one. A time you spent
together that was fun or funny is ideal.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Step Four</b></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Now, go back to the feeling of grief; and
notice what’s different. Notice if the intensity of the grief has
changed in any way. Notice any sensations in your body. Just notice
what’s still there.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b>Step Five</b></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Go back and repeat Steps Two through Four
until the grief has completely gone and has been replaced by your
positive feelings and memories of your loved one.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Keys to Remember</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">These are the key points that will help you to recover as quickly as possible:</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<ol style="text-align: justify;">
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Your grief, while natural, is doing nothing to change the situation.
It is not doing anything that will help you to move forward.</span></li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<ol start="2" style="text-align: justify;">
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Although it is natural to feel that by getting over your loss too
soon you are showing disrespect to the person you’ve lost – think, for a
moment, what they would prefer. If they love you, they would not want
you to suffer. If your places were switched, would you rather they
suffer as you have been; or would you rather they focus on the wonderful
moments and fun you had together, remembering you with love and joy?</span></li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>

everything to find relief, it can be difficult to remain hopeful. It can
be extremely difficult to resist falling into depression, hopelessness
and helplessness. Tiffany Jeffers and Heather McKean are two, among the
thousands of the<a href="https://fastereft.com/blog/10-lives-changed-faster-eft/"> people who found freedom from chronic illnesses</a>
– using FasterEFT. While it may sound too good to be true, when you
understand how and why FasterEFT works, it will all make perfect sense.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><strong>Once you start working with the FasterEFT Tapping technique,</strong>
you’ll realize that you’ve stored all of the traumatic memories from
your life in your body. In other words, painful and traumatic memories
are represented within your body as chronic illnesses. Even the ones you
consciously can’t remember – those are the ones that show up as pain
and other symptoms in your body. Freedom from severe pain can bring
unimagined joy in your life, but only if you apply these techniques.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Let’s take you through how Tiffany went from receiving therapy from
the VA to help her live without trying to commit suicide, to living a
healthy, active, fun and productive life, free from the chronic
illnesses that had debilitated her. Up until October 2013 her conditions
included: Severe <a href="https://fastereft.com/blog/fastereft-freed-juli-fibromyalgia-ended-26-years-pain-20-surgeries/">fibromyalgia</a>;
arthritis; chronic fatigue; spinal cord and neck injury; peripheral
neuropathy; IBS; asthma; cancer; clinical depression; a range of
allergies; and so much more. For the full details of her conditions and
how she’s healed, watch her testimonial here: PTSD I had Chronic
Headaches, pain, depression, IBS, Cancer, Insomnia and Fibromyalgia.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"> 1. <b>Use the FasterEFT Tapping technique to change the references held in
the subconscious that result in problems in all areas of life, including
chronic pain and diseases</b>. The FasterEFT tapping technique disrupts the
production of the chemicals that cause the feeling of fear, anger,
anxiety or any other negative emotion and changes the meaning of that
traumatic memory in the subconscious from “fear” or “anger” (or whatever
that memory represents) to peace. This will then result in an automatic
feeling of peace and satisfaction whenever you reference that memory in
the future.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">2. <b>Once you’ve learned how to use the FasterEFT tapping technique by
watching Robert’s videos on YouTube to free yourself from your immediate
chronic conditions and pain, the key is to keep going. </b>You need to take
the responsibility by continuing to address traumatic memories, in
order to experience complete recovery. Watch how to use the A.R.T. of
Change process to address and flip subconscious beliefs that contribute
to chronic illnesses. continued to use FasterEFT on her traumatic
memories and other stressors.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This is how Tiffany was able to heal her physical body from the
incredible range of chronic illnesses she had suffered from for so many
years. This is how, two and a half years later she is still completely
pain free and the life of her dreams with her husband and children,
without depending on medication.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><strong>3. Make a list of all the things you want to change in your life right now.</strong>
If that seems like it a daunting task, then start by prioritizing what
is bothering you the most right now. It could be health, finances,
relationships or a combination. You can even split the list into
different categories if that makes it more achievable.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
The point is to make a list and then start going through the list addressing each one of those problems using the <a href="https://fastereft.com/eutaptics-memory-reimprinting/">Eutaptics memory reimprinting process.</a>
Turn those heartaches into heart waves! Dare to dream about turning
your sorrows in joy, because with the Eutaptics memory reimprinting
process, it is possible, and that’s exactly what thousands of people
have done! Chronic illnesses don’t stand a chance once you make up your
mind to do whatever it takes to live free from pain</span><br />

<div class="wpb_wrapper">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">We’re all used to achieving happiness from external circumstances,
events, people and things. We are taught from a very young age to
depend on other people’s validation to fuel our own self esteem. Whether
this is in the form of compliments, awards, likes, tags, applause. <strong>It all depends on how an individual perceives his or her own success validation.</strong>
True and lasting happiness comes from within yourself, where you are
happy, calm and at peace no matter what is happening around you.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">If you find yourself unable to resist achieving happiness by seeking
outside validation, through social media and things people have written
or said about you, and you feel a range of bad feelings as a result, you
may want to take back the control.</span><br />
<div class="vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid">
<div class="wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12">
<div class="vc_column-inner ">
<div class="wpb_wrapper">

</span><div class="wpb_text_column wpb_content_element ">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><div class="wpb_wrapper">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><h2>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Why seek Success Validation from the Outside?</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">There is a reason you feel a compulsion to validate your own self
through what other people say and do. And once you pinpoint and resolve
that, you will no longer be interested in achieving happiness by
curating likes and “hits” on your social media posts. When you’re no
longer emotionally affected by the comments of others and thus be able
to achieve genuine happiness.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This isn’t about willpower. <strong>This is about reimprinting your mind to achieve a more sustainable model of happiness.</strong>
The reason you’re hooked to seeking success validation by your social
media posts, or learning more about what others are saying or thinking
about you, is the same reason people do drugs, drink excessive alcohol
and watch horror movies. It’s chemical.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Whenever you experience something that makes you feel angry,
outraged, indignant, fearful, and any other stressed state, your brain
and body are flooded with stress chemicals, such as<strong> adrenaline and cortisol.</strong></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This is why you feel drawn to experiences that make your body release
more of these chemicals. So if getting onto social media or gossiping
with someone makes you feel happy, you are receiving a “hit” of that
chemical concoction – whether it’s joy, anger, fear, or any other
intense state.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This keeps you coming back for more of the same for <a href="https://fastereft.com/blog/well-sustained-happiness-indicator-genuine-success/">achieving happiness. </a>In
order to break that compulsion, you need to break the pattern. You need
to make the conscious decision to achieve success validation without
depending on that particular activity. As you do this, the “hit” you get
from those particular chemicals will reduce, and so will the
compulsion.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Now, in the beginning this can seem almost impossible – because your
body and brain are telling you that you need those chemicals. This is
exactly how a drug addict feels, so in a way, you’re addicted to
achieving happiness from other people and circumstances.This will be
experienced as a physical compulsion – and the conscious mind will then
apply logic and reason to try to make sense of these compulsions.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">You may find yourself coming up with a range of reasons why it’s okay
(perhaps even necessary) to expose yourself to this stuff that doesn’t
feel good. There is a way to take this compulsion away – quickly and
effectively, using Eutaptics – so that you naturally are not interested
in the things you know are detrimental to your well-being and your time
management.</span><br />
<h2>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">A list of ways to avoid seeking success validation:</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">1. Social media is a wonderful way to keep in contact with friends
and family; but it can also be detrimental to those who simply can’t
pull themselves away from it. Scientific research into social media
addiction has shown that Facebook is the most addictive. There are
several reasons for this, including the fact that it allows the user to
talk about themselves. Cut down on the time you spend on Facebook or
other social media platforms. Take it slow, instead of being on social
media for 5 hours a day, slowly reduce 30 mins every other day. There’s
nothing wrong with enjoying social media in moderation; however, if you
find it’s affecting how you feel, or impacting on areas of your life in a
negative way, it’s time to make a change. Fortunately, there is a way
to break this addiction fairly easily and without needing to go “cold
turkey”.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">2. Does achieving happiness mean needing to comment or reply to
comments on videos, posts, pictures or anything else? If you find
yourself unable to resist reading stuff that other people have written,
and feeling a range of bad feelings as a result, you may want to take
back control. This is not about willpower and dragging yourself away;
there is a reason you’re feeling this compulsion, and when you resolve
that, you will no longer be interested never mind feel emotionally
affected by the comments of others.</span><br />

It was written post election last December and he put a spin on the negative feelings that most of us were feeling. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">He wrote:<br /><br />These past few months have been more tumultuous than usual—I think
we’re all ready for 2016 to wrap up. The election has left
reverberations of fear, distrust, and uncertainty in its wake. No matter
what political views you hold, you can likely feel the sense of
disorder hanging over the nation, and even the world.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Unease and negativity are not always entirely bad. Good can emerge
from acknowledging your feelings and the airing of your opinions.
There’s inherent value in in working through discomfort. Fear and
uncertainty are often the first steps along the path toward personal
growth. Disagreement and challenges may be uncomfortable, but unpleasant
emotions that accompany growth often prompt introspection and have the
ability to widen one’s worldview.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> The work begins with you. This holds true in situations both big and
small. You do your best and still fail to get the promotion; you try to
persuade your family to have a holiday meal at your home but lose out to
someone else; you feel sabotaged or burdened by a health issue.
Disappointment and frustration are big feelings. It’s natural to feel
negative in the face of a situation that is less than ideal, but
eventually within every obstacle, there is an invitation to heal and
cope. The problem emerges when you get stuck in the negative feelings
and find yourself unable to accept things as they are. Spending the
majority of time in the negative feeds your darker thoughts. It gives
them strength and allows them to take root and develop into grudges and
deep-seated pockets of anger. The thoughts you feed are the ones that
grow. <a href="http://www.mindful.org/mental-meteorology-noticing-thoughts-leads-healthier-habits-mind/">If you focus on the problem, the problem gets bigger</a>, and before you know it, you’re a giant ball of anger, frustration, and sadness.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">T</span>rain Your Brain to Notice the Good, Too</span></h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">So, how do you <i>find resolve</i>? How can you train your brain to choose a path of neutrality or balance— especially after a <a href="http://www.mindful.org/the-7-drivers-of-old-habits-of-thinking/">prolonged negative outlook</a>?
The answer is simple but not easy: you turn toward your authentic
feelings as there is always a measure of pain. You are called upon to
meet your roadblocks and challenges with acceptance, not to turn away.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Start by acknowledging every emotion without judgment. Spending all
your time on what doesn’t go your way overshadows the experiences in
your day-to-day life that bring you an appreciation for life. Name these
moments, and call them up in your mind. According to UC Davis
psychologist Robert Emmons, the world’s leading scientific expert on
gratitude, contrasting the present with negative times in the past can
make you feel less unhappy and enhance your overall sense of well-being.
Emmons postulates that <a href="http://greatergood.berkeley.edu/article/item/how_gratitude_can_help_you_through_hard_times" target="_blank">an attitude of gratitude is essential especially under crisis conditions</a>
as it builds up a psychological immune system that cushions you when
you fall. It can help you gain perspective on life and can help you cope
with crisis.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span>
<h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">F</span>our Practices to Foster Gratitude</span></h3>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Changing your thought pattern isn’t easy. If you find yourself triggered by a negative event,<a href="http://www.mindful.org/the-5-major-mind-traps-that-hinder-happiness/"> stuck in a negative thought loop</a>, or unsure how to begin, try some of the following tips:</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">1) <b>Keep a <a href="http://www.mindful.org/a-simple-weekly-mindfulness-practice-keep-a-gratitude-journal/">gratitude journal</a></b>.
Each night before you go to bed, take a moment to write down three
things that made you feel grateful throughout the day. Robert Emmons’
research demonstrates that keeping a gratitude journal for as little as
three weeks results in better sleep and more energy.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">2)<b> Set an intention to pay attention. </b> Take time to acknowledge all the encounters that make you feel grateful.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">3)<b> Engage a family discussion. </b>If you are a parent with teens, start a family<br />
conversation by asking: What obstacles are you facing? Or, share a time
when you were open to a new experience and you benefited from it. Having
your family members express their present moment experiences can help
set the stage for more connection, appreciation, and compassion.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">4) <b> Start a class discussion. </b>If you’re an educator,
gather your students in a circle and ask them to think about 10 things
they’re grateful for. After a few moments of reflection, engage them in a
structured discussion by asking: <i>“Share one person that you are grateful for in your life and why.” </i>Student-driven conversations can help build an appreciation for their diverse experiences as well as their common humanity. **</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">It may not come easy at first, but the more you express your thanks
and gratitude on a daily basis the more natural it becomes. So even if
it feels forced, stick with it and commit! Trust me, nothing can stop
the flow of life and apparently it has joy, suffering, delight and
happiness.</span><br />

</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="htp://fastereft.com/about/">Robert G. Smith developed FasterEFT</a>
but the acupressure points used in this healing technique has been used
for thousands of years. However, their purpose in FasterEFT healing
serves a slightly different purpose compared to purely acupressure
therapy, that we will explain later on.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Acupuncture is very popular in Chinese Medicine, ancient and modern.
It is only in the recent years that this type of healing has begun to
become more popular in non-oriental cultures. In the west, scientific
researches has been conducted over time to map its efficiency.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">While acupuncture requires needles, acupressure does not, it is simply applying light to moderate pressure on the meridian points of the body to alleviate physiological issues.
Traditional Chinese Medicine holds the complete understanding about
these Meridian Systems and how they affect the body, not just in
addressing pain and body issues but most importantly, how they affect
vital organs. Manipulation of these points if done properly can
contribute to overall physical and mental wellbeing of an individual.<br /></span><br />
<h2>
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">In FasterEFT we only manipulate 5 main points, which are: </span></span></h2>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><h3>
<b><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><u>The area between the eyebrows</u></span></span></b></h3>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This area is also known as the acupressure point GV 24.5, some call
it as the “third eye point.” The benefits of applying slight pressure in
these point is to alleviate mental stress, calm an upset stomach, deals
with frustration, headaches and mental congestion.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><h3>
<u><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">The area beside the eye</span></span></u></h3>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This acupressure point is just beside the eye outside the eye socket,
close to the bone but not exactly the temple. The point is also known
as the G1, it helps with temporal headaches, migraines, conjunctivitis.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><h3>
<u><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Under the eye</span></span></u></h3>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This point is the bony surface under the eye. This acupressure point
is said to relieve headaches and other stress related issues originating
from strains of the eyes.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><h3>
<u><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">The point under the collarbones</span></span></u></h3>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This point is known as the Lu1, but more popularly known as the
Letting Go acupressure point. This point is used to release anxiety,
depression and overwhelm. This is a very important point in acupressure
therapy and known to be very effective in letting go of grief and loss.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><h3>
<u><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">The wrist acupressure points</span></span></u></h3>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">The wrist contains several acupressure points. In FasterEFT, it is
just grabbing the wrist and not suggested to apply pressure on each of
the points. It is accompanied by the phrase “Peace” while slowly
breathing out. Points TW5, P6 and TW4 are local pressure points touched
when you grab your wrist, they are known to treat a syndromes and
disorders relating to the hand and the arms, but their purpose in
FasterEFT is to end a tapping cycle as you completely let go.<br /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">The following is the tapping visual guide:<br /></span><br />

We can learn a lot from being present, in the moment, not by sailing through life in a mindless stupor as we conquer our "to do" lists.<br /></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Alex writes...<br />I never met my maternal grandfather — he passed away before I was
born. He was a wise, kind man. A devout Christian who also encapsulated,
beautifully, the concept of mindfulness — of living in the
present — with the saying “Today is the best day.”</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">My mother has often said this to her children. For her, as well as my
sister and me, it has become a sort of mantra, something to aspire to,
to live by.<br /></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">“Today is the best day,” means appreciating the here and the now and
all the goodness that this contains. It involves acknowledging that we
do not live in the past or the future; we occupy the present, and so we
better darn well make the most of it. Happiness is not a destination you
will reach, but something to be accessed now. We can so easily dwell on
what we don’t have, or what we want but haven’t got yet (or had, but
lost). “Today is the best day,” means letting go of those
preoccupations, turning the focus on what you do have, on your life and
its bounty <em>today</em>.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I’m not making a list of resolutions this year. What I do hope,
though, is that I appreciate, every day — or even most days — that <em>Today is the best day</em> — and that I manage — again, on most days — to do the following:</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><strong>Make the effort.</strong> While some of life is just about
showing up, beautiful things happen — connection, fulfillment, growth
and learning — when you you take responsibility and show initiative.
This applies in all facets of your life — socially, on a sports field,
at the office, at home.<br /></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><strong>Let go.</strong> (Or, as Taylor Swift would say, <em>Shake It Off</em>.)
Experiencing critical thoughts and negative emotions — anger,
frustration — is natural; so is caring about what people think of you.
But holding on to these emotions and perceptions holds you back; they
distract you from your own purpose. Take note, and then let them go.
Live your life; because it belongs to you and nobody else.<br /></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><strong>Go with the flow.</strong> Don’t passively accept the things
in your life, but don’t fight the unchangeable and inevitable either.
Surfing lessons have taught me that getting into a flat panic when
taking a tumble doesn’t do the least bit of good — all the thrashing in
the world won’t get you back above water. Rather, acknowledge your
environment, understand the challenges, and then respond to them. In
other words: float, don’t flail.<br /></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><strong>Breathe.</strong> Something as simple as breathing has the
power to shift your internal emotional landscape and boost your mental
and physical wellbeing. On an Art of Living course, I recently learnt
the Sudarshan Kriya, a daily breathing meditation (with many <a class="bn-clickable" data-beacon-parsed="true" data-beacon="{"p":{"lnid":"scientifically proven benefits","mpid":2,"plid":"http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/features/meditation-heals-body-and-mind"}}" href="http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/features/meditation-heals-body-and-mind" target="_hplink">scientifically proven benefits</a>).
In the few weeks that I’ve been practicing, I’ve found it to be an
incredible tool — reducing anxiety, improving focus and helping to
create a sense of balance. Breathing doesn’t make a shit storm
disappear, but it does help you to step back, and weather it better.
Yoga, with its emphasis on the connection between the breath and
different postures, is another powerful tool to get you to breathe,
bringing bring balance and focus.<br /></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
</span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><strong>Make imperfectly, rather than nothing perfectly.</strong> I
sometimes have the near-crippling worry that the words I write just
aren’t good enough. The worry is almost strong enough to make me avoid
writing altogether (a bit problematic, as this is how I earn my living).
I have to constantly remind myself that it’s OK to create things that
aren’t perfect; that it’s better to create something with flaws, than
never attempt something at all. When we create, the sentences that fall
flat teach us as much, if not more, as the ones which sing. We grow by
doing. The more we do, the more we grow. Craft isn’t the end — it’s the
in-between: it’s not a product, but rather a process, and one in which
there should be joy (as Srikumar S. Rao will tell you in this incredibly
inspiring <a class="bn-clickable" data-beacon-parsed="true" data-beacon="{"p":{"lnid":"presentation","mpid":3,"plid":"http://www.ted.com/talks/srikumar_rao_plug_into_your_hard_wired_happiness"}}" href="http://www.ted.com/talks/srikumar_rao_plug_into_your_hard_wired_happiness" target="_hplink">presentation</a> on work, happiness and the present).</span></span><br /><br />Find the original article here:<br />

hinders an individual’s ability to achieve and sustain a happy life.
Pain, in all its forms, is the mind’s signal that there is something
misaligned. The uncomfortable feeling that makes moving, coping and living difficult is often manifested as pain. <b><br></b></span><br>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Acute pain is usually much easier to address, with the physical
symptoms present, acute pain can be addressed with medical intervention
and a person can recover more quickly. In terms of chronic pain, the
feeling of discomfort lasts longer and can be mild to severe, often
medical science has no definite answer to its cause, hence, there is no
cure.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Such as in the <a href="https://fastereft.com/blog/fastereft-freed-juli-fibromyalgia-ended-26-years-pain-20-surgeries/">cases of fibromyalgia</a> and the vast spectrum of invisible illnesses that fall under the chronic pain category.</span><br>
<br>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> The primary reason FasterEFT is one of the best chronic pain management
techniques is because it complements other forms of therapy. It is
non-invasive and will not cause any adverse side effects even if applied
when you are under medication. Of course, it is always best to ask your medical practitioner. <b><br></b></span><br>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">FasterEFT’s premise of operation in chronic pain management involves the mind and how <a href="https://fastereft.com/blog/fastereft-guide-lasting-healing-pain/" target="_blank">pain is produced by the mind</a>.
It is a mind and body healing modality that is proven to allow an
individual manage and eliminate chronic pain by accessing the power of
the mind to heal and transform itself and the body.</span><br>
