It's been awhile since I've posted!
I stepped outside my comfort zone this past May and accepted the opportunity to become an contributing columnist for an online magazine called Bellesprit!
Bellésprit (pronounced bell-es-pree) Magazine was "born out of a desire to educate those who seek to expand their knowledge along their spiritual path. Featuring many columnists who are experts in their field, Bellésprit magazine has a little bit of something for everyone!"
My monthly articles mirror the format of this blog with a specific topic and corresponding tapping script.
I am very excited about this opportunity as it allows me to spread my wings in the writing arena and expand on my EFT or tapping knowledge.

As a nation, maybe we need to step back and be less judgmental when it comes to viewing people as lazy and lacking in self-discipline and control. I Choose To Trust And Appreciate The Process
This past week has been particularly challenging for several people close to me. They have had to sit back and accept a situation that was out of their control, one that they so desperately wanted to help resolve.
Sometimes life doesn’t seem fair.
Certain situations are out of our control.
Maybe distance is a factor or the people involved don’t want help. Maybe it involves a situation on a national or global scale that you feel you should contribute to, but don't have the resources to do so.
None the less, it doesn’t feel any better when we can't be involved or aren't in control, especially when we are emotionally involved to some degree.
Whatever your situation is today, the following tapping script may help lighten the emotional burden you are currently carrying until the situation is resolved.
My wish is that it helps bring calm and peace to any situation that is weighing heavy on your mind today.

UN: I don’t like it when I am not in control
CH: That is hard for me to accept
CB: I am a fixer - I fix problems
UA: But I can’t fix this one
HD: I am not sure how to cope right now...
WR: The outcome is not within my control
** Now take a deep breath or two and proceed to the second round of tapping**
Round Two:
EB: In my heart, I know I have to let go
SE: I can't get caught up in the "how" of this situation
UE: This is going to be hard for me to do
UN: But if I don’t, it is going to eat away at me
CH: Eventually, it will eat away at my body
CB: It will manifest as a disease if I continue to focus on this situation
UA: What good will I be to those I love and CAN help, if I am sick
HD: I have to alter my thoughts about this situation right now
WR: Maybe this will all work out better than I ever imagined

Round Three:
EB: I choose to let go of the "how" today
SE: I must trust that this situation is part of a bigger picture
UE: I choose to appreciate the process of diving timing
UN: This is a process of growing, loving and trusting in a higher power
CH: It all boils down to love for each other anyway
CB: So I am going to send my deepest love to ___ and this situation
HD: And accept the outcome to happen exactly as it is meant to happen
WR: I am feeling more calm, confident and peaceful now!

What if I fail?
I was having a conversation this past week with a friend who was terrified to step outside of her comfort zone.
She is a very creative individual and her face lights up when she talks about her latest creations or all the ideas that are swimming in her head.
She has discovered that warm and fuzzy part of her soul that illuminates her face, and puts a sparkle in her eye. It elevates her vibration to a level that attracts more good things into her existence.
Then, she takes that virtual pin and bursts her own bubble by doubting her ability to step outside her comfort zone and take that first step towards making her dreams come true.
I wonder how many people today live in that safe bubble, that emotional cocoon that prevents them from dipping their toe in the water of success...
I challenge all of you to break out of your safe cocoon today and take the plunge into the pool of success.
If that feels too scary, then try wading in the baby pool until it feels comfortable - then take that plunge and find out what you are really made of, you might just surprise yourself!

Even Though It Seems Like Everything Is Going Wrong
Have you ever had a day when everything seems to go wrong and frustration sets in?
I’ve had several days like that lately and being a believer in the Law of Attraction I knew I had to turn my thoughts around or I would find myself riding the hamster wheel again tomorrow – No thank you!
Next time you feel like your day is spinning out of control, try the following tapping script.
It will ground you and balance your energy so everything starts falling into place again!

Tell Me Yes, Tell Me No - Tell Me Quick I Have To Go!
Rejection!
We've all experienced it at some point in life
What about rejection of your goals and dreams?
Have you ever had someone steal your thunder, pop your balloon, flat out squash your dreams?
Didn't feel good, did it?
Since I was in my teens, I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit, but not everyone saw my vision!
The expectation was to get an education, get a job, work hard, retire with a great pension and live happily ever after!
Right.........that has not worked out well for many people in today's economy.
As far back as I could remember, I always had my head buried in motivational books. Zig Ziglar and Napoleon Hill became my mentors and still are today.
Those books instilled in me the power of dreams and filled me with hope of a better future!
They literally changed my view of life!
Along this road of self discovery, I found much rejection which stopped me in my tracks at different times.
How could people stomp on my dreams when they were supposed to be my friend?
What I didn't comprehend until recently was why those closest to me couldn't see what I saw when presented with an opportunity of bettering themselves.
Why couldn't they think outside the box and see the bigger picture of what life had to offer?
Then I discovered something that made it all very clear!
Many times people were afraid of MY success because it made them feel like a failure. I learned that the negative thoughts and words they vomited all over me was about THEM, not about me! It was a way of protecting their ego.
That has been the best lesson I've learned in life
So now, when I share my vision of a great opportunity with friends and family, I am not attached to the outcome of our conversaton.
If they get it GREAT, but if they don't I move on to others who will.... "tell me yes or tell me no, tell me quick I have to go!" NEXT!!
I never absorb rejection or the negative vibrations because that cuts off the flow of good things into my life.
Letting go and moving on will expand my life, expand my circle of friends and explode my business success in ways I could have never imagined!
So next time you share your dreams, visons or business opportunity with others and they don't get it, don't take it personally, just let it go and say NEXT!

HD: I have dreams and goals to pursue
WR: And I'll be darned if they are going to steal those from me!

EB: It feels better knowing they aren't rejecting me and what I have to offer
SE: They are protecting themselves from a sense of failure

CB: Just tell me quick, I have to go!
UA: NEXT!!

All This Back Pain!
I love to empower myself with self help books and when I first started reading self healing books, I was amazed to learn that so much of our pain is caused from stored emotions in the body.
That led me to think about many of my co-workers and friends who suffer from back pain. Many have no physical contributor to their pain and doctors can't find a medical reason, yet they are still in pain.
The only option many of them have is to pop a pill and mask the pain. That is fine for temporary relief, but the long term goal is to find the root of the problem and eradicate it like pulling a weed, root and all! If you don't pull out the root, the weed will pop up again, just like your back pain when the pain killer wears off.
Right now, many of you are saying, "but I have a physical reason for my back pain"!
For those that do have a diagnosed reason for your pain, there are emotions that are tied to that pain.
For example, I have a friend that broke her back in a car accident, and even though she has pins and rods and scars that give her pain, she still has emotions tied to that accident.
Those are the emotions I am talking about. The thoughts that still haunt you in regards to the event that led to your physical condition and pain.
I love Louse L. Hay's book "Heal Your Body", I have learned so much about myself and my body after reading her book.
Here's some interesting facts that I have picked up from her and other self help books about back pain:
Lower back pain: fear of money, lack of financial support
Middle back pain: guilt
Upper back pain: lack of emotional support; feeling unloved; holding back love
Typically, pain on the right side of the body is associated with finances and pain on the left side of the body is associated with relationships. For a minority of people, that can be flipped: right side = relationships and the left side = finances.
When I work with clients who are dealing with any kind of pain, I have them answer a questionnaire about the possible events and/or emotions associated with the pain. This enables me to get a better grip on the emotions that may be trapped in thier body.
Most are pleasantly amazed at the pain relief by the end of our session
By the way, 95% of my sessions are done on the phone!
I have provided a tapping script for back pain today!
Before you start tapping, please rate your pain and write it down on paper. Rate it from 1-10 with 10 being the worst. Describe the pain: dull, aching, stabbing, etc,
After 3 rounds of tapping, reassess your pain and write down your results. Did the pain number lessen, did it change locations, did it change from stabbing to aching? Write it all down.
Do a few more rounds and see if you can reduce it even further.

EB: Even though I have ignored the messages my back has been sending me all this
time, I choose to listen to it now
SE: I deserve to feel healthy and whole
UE: I choose to imagine by body pain free
UN: I might be able to throw away those toxic pain pills
CH: I give my body permission to start healing itself, starting with my back
CB: The very part of my body that supports me everyday
UA: I feel the presence of healing love in my body
HD: Love is now healing my back
WR: Life now supports me as does my back
** Now take a deep breath or two and proceed to the third round of tapping**
Round Three:
EB: I’m grateful for this pain gift which brought me understanding and compassion
SE: I forgive myself and anyone else that may have contributed to my back pain
UE: Forgiveness is a gift I now give to myself and those around me
UN: I deserve to be healthy
CH: I have the power to heal my own body
CB: I am asking Archangle Raphael to assist me in this healing process
UA: He is the divine angel of healing
HD: Love and light surround my body

Jealousy And Self Confidence Can't Live In The Same House
I felt led to write about a passionate emotion that has plagued everyone at least once in their life and that is "jealousy"!
Oh yes, that green eyed monster that rears it's ugly head when self doubt, insecurity and fear oozes into our lives!
I had a conversation years ago with someone who felt jealousy was a "positive" emotion and that it was a way of expressing love for your spouse or partner.
They were taken aback when I whole heartedly disagreed!
Jealousy is based on fear, the fear of losing something or someone. Over a prolonged period of time, that fear will eat away at your relationship like rust on a car. Before you know it, the relationship becomes toxic, spirals out of control and eventually disintegrates.
The law of attraction states: "What you think about, you bring about" - one of my favorite quotes that I apply to my daily thoughts.
The more you think about jealousy and everything that means to you in your life right now, the more situations you will attract that creates more jealousy. It becomes a visicious cycle, one that you need to stop - TODAY!
Prolonged fear also leads to disease in the body. It shows up as tension, anxiety, nervousness, worry, doubt, insecurity and unworthiness.
We must reprogram our fears and replace them with faith so that our bodies don't deteriorate, leaving us sick and disease ridden - have no doubt, fear will eat away at your body just like rust on a car!
Replace that fear with love for yourself!
You can do that by stopping the criticism, stop the self loathing, stop the need to control others!

SE: I love knowing I can move beyond this
UE: What a liberating feeling
UN: I choose to focus my energy in a more positive direction

HD: I am feeling more peace, calm and clarity now
WR: I love who I am and what I am becoming!

Change Is Good.......Right?
My last post centered around tapping on your blocks to success. I hope many of you who tried tapping, uncovered emotional blocks that may have held you back from moving one step closer to your goals and dreams.
Here’s another thought to consider: What if the key to unlocking an abundant future was closer than you originally thought? What if it was so close, yet so far away because you haven’t opened your mind to a new idea or opportunity?
Many of us have found our daily rut very comfortable; so comfortable that we never take the time to raise our heads long enough to see the vast opportunities that lie around us. We are too scared to think outside the box because the territory is unfamiliar and frankly, a little daunting.
If you have been fortunate enough to recognize an opportunity, but have not taken that step forward, subconsciously you may be holding yourself back due to the influences of your family, friends, co-workers, etc.
Many tend to box themselves into a world that others see as normal or safe. We take on their opinions and decide those are the same rules that should be applied to our lives.
But what if they’re wrong? What if a whole new lease on life is one decision away? It may be worth your time to step out of that rut for a brief moment and discover a cosmic world of new opportunities some that may change your life forever!
I challenge you today, to move beyond your comfort zone, extend your antennae and open your eyes to new opportunities that may knock at your door. Take a moment and entertain them, invited them in for a cup of coffee or tea and see what they have to offer. You don’t have to say yes…..you just have to listen, think and make an educated decision about your future!
Right now, make a declaration to keep an open mind to new opportunities and watch what unfolds – you may be pleasantly surprised!

I Have So Much I Want To Accomplish, So What The Heck Is My Problem?
Well, it's already half way through the first month of 2012 - how are you doing with the goals you set on January 1st?
The start of a new year is very intoxicating as the excitement builds surrounding the possibilities of a new beginning for all those goals and dreams.
What I find happens is that most people soon realize that January 1st is not as magical as they thought it was; just like starting your diet on a Monday after binging all weekend!
But...quite the contrary!
January 1st is just as magical as any given day of the year.
Any day can be the first day to tackle your goals!
You don't have to wait till Monday, the 1st of the month or any other day for that matter.
All that is, is procrastination!
Make a decision that today will be the last day for procrastination! You can change the course of your life right now!
If you are spinning your 2012 wheels and finding you can't get the traction you need, then try the tapping script below.

How Can I Go On?
Hello 2012!
It’s been almost 6 months since the last time I was able to blog and so much has happened since then!
I moved in August and got married mid October! After the honeymoon, I spent November and December settling in and preparing for the holidays.
Time has just flown by, but now that we are well into the New Year, I wanted to start writing and inspiring with new tapping scripts for reaching the goals many have set for the year.
As I dug deep down inside myself for insight and inspiration, I also looked at the remarks and comments on my Calming Your Inner Storm Facebook page. I was drawn to all the sadness and grief that many readers have had to endure recently.
I realized there were many who couldn’t begin to entertain the thought of setting new goals because their hearts were so heavy with emotional grief.
I knew there was no way I could inspire or motivate until I could help lighten the emotional load so many have been carrying.
I felt led today to write a tapping script on dealing with grief as it relates to the death of a loved one. I hope the following script helps in some way to help ease your burdens and open your heart to carry you into this New Year.
